Job description

Sr. Salesforce Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer who will serve as a technical leader and strategic contributor across our Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires deep mastery of Lightning Web Components (LWC/Aura), APEX, integration architecture, and advanced programmatic development across Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL). The ideal candidate brings proven experience designing scalable enterprise solutions, guiding technical direction, and delivering complex multi-cloud implementations that span Service and Field operations. Expertise in Agentforce / AI-agent frameworks is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Own end-to-end technical design for major Salesforce initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across Service Cloud, FSL, and integrated systems
  • Define engineering standards, patterns, and best practices for LWC, APEX, integrations, and DevOps
  • Partner with architects to shape multi-cloud architecture, data models, and integration strategies

Advanced Development & Platform Engineering
  • Design, build, and optimize complex Salesforce components using LWC, Aura, APEX classes/triggers, asynchronous processing, and platform events
  • Lead development of Agentforce (service/field AI agents), embedding intelligent automation into agent and field workflows
  • Architect and implement advanced Service Cloud capabilities including omni-channel routing, case automation, and custom agent experiences
  • Oversee Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementations including scheduling logic, dispatcher console customization, mobile app extensibility, and emergency roadside workflows

Integration & Data Engineering
  • Architect and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Ensure data consistency and orchestration across Service Cloud, FSL, and external platforms
  • Establish patterns for error handling, monitoring, and high-volume data processing

Delivery Ownership & Governance
  • Lead technical delivery for cross-functional projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with business objectives
  • Build and maintain scalable release pipelines using Gearset, ensuring smooth integration with Git workflows, automated testing, and quality checks
  • Enforce governance standards including security/sharing model, code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with Salesforce limits

Mentorship & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for business stakeholders
  • Proactively identify platform improvements, emerging capabilities, and opportunities for innovation

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura
    • APEX (classes, triggers, batch/queueable jobs, asynchronous patterns)
    • Service Cloud configuration and customization
    • Field Service Lightning (service territories, scheduling, dispatcher console, mobile app customization)
    • Integration frameworks: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, CDC
    • Salesforce DevOps using Gearset, Git-based workflows, and automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong command of Salesforce security/sharing model, data modeling, SOQL/SOSL, and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery, influence architecture, and drive engineering standards

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Service Cloud Consultant, FSL Consultant, Agentforce/Einstein certifications
  • Experience designing and deploying Agentforce or AI-driven digital agent solutions
  • Background in insurance, field service, or roadside assistance domains
  • Familiarity with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi) and third-party integrations (telemetry, dispatch, repair networks)
  • Demonstrated leadership in setting technical direction, mentoring teams, and elevating engineering practices
