Salesforce Developer

As the Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a vital role at Flow Control Group. We are looking for an individual that will assist in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. Our Salesforce instance is of great importance to us, therefore you should keep the wider organization’s best interests in mind composing and deploying any code.

Looking for a bright self-motivated developer, who can help to ensure that our business objectives and process are translated accurately and effectively in our Salesforce org. This is an exciting opportunity to help design, refine, code and test and implement processes in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce full lifecycle implementation experience utilizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • 3 - 5 years of object-oriented programming experience: Java or C# preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer.
  • Hands-on design and development using the Force.com platform.
  • Significant work in Apex classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, Visual force, UI Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Manage application phases of system implementation (e.g. configuration, customization, integration, data migration)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits)
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
  • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
  • Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Conga, Youreka, Survey Gizmo.
  • The Salesforce Developer will be working within the IT team and will report directly to the IT Salesforce Platform Manger.

Qualifications and Background

Required:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Field Service Management, Service Cloud, and Marketing cloud product knowledge and at least 3 - 5 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members
  • Able to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I

Desirable:

  • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Mobile application Developer
  • Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services,
  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
  • Active in the Salesforce community
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience
