Job description

We have a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension in a highly collaborative financial services environment. The role is 3 days in office (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) in the Calgary office and is starting ASAP.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a growing internal development team supporting a highly customized Salesforce platform for wealth management users.

This role is focused on:

• Deep Lightning Web Components development (top requirement)

• Hands-on Apex development

• Integrations and API work

• Enhancing complex Salesforce functionality in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

Salesforce FSC experience is preferred but not required. Strong core Salesforce engineering capability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Apex and Lightning Web Component solutions

• Build and maintain REST API integrations with internal systems

• Support enhancements to a highly customized Salesforce environment

• Work closely with architects on technical design and implementation approaches

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

• Participate in peer reviews and collaborative development processes

• Contribute to performance tuning and platform stability improvements

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong Salesforce development experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components

• Experience with REST API integrations

• Strong understanding of Salesforce fundamentals including objects, relationships, triggers and flows
