Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, the Sales Support Manager will use their combined experience and expertise to deploy a commercial bid process that meets the customers RFP requirements with GAT's expansive portfolio of products and service solutions. The Sales Support Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts by developing quotations, supporting daily sales activities, and driving revenue growth through exceptional customer service and proactive account management. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure timely quote turnaround, order execution, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and results-driven, with a strong understanding of aviation aftermarket sales and the ability to identify new sales opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships. This role is based onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of GATs expansive product and service offerings and the ability to effectively communicate them, both internally and externally, as solutions to our customers' problems.
  • Create and deploy a commercial bid process to serve the needs of the business and its customers
  • Collaborate with all internal business units to assemble a creative plan for each proposal
  • Work with the relevant internal business managers to ensure modeling of proposals to satisfy customer requirements and ensure highest revenue and margin targets
  • Design procedures and process flow utilizing maximum IT efficiency to support the business
  • Prepare a full proposal for each RFP that is innovative to the need of the customer
  • Once selected, ensure contract rollout, and relevant internal legal management to close the deal
  • Use effective leadership and delegation skills across the proposal team, including sales, product line managers, logistics, finance and legal
Qualifications:
  • 5+ yrs experience within a variety of complex aviation commercial process settings
  • Ability to build high quality proposals and presentations in pdf / word / ppt
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Experience in understanding and evaluating aviation business models; strong general business acumen
  • Experience in contract management and customer fulfillment
  • Experience in sales, marketing and customer program/support
  • Salesforce and Quantum experience a plus, but not required
