Location: Dallas, TX, or the Northeastern U.S. (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio)

Territory: Texas and the Northeastern U.S.

Status: Full-time Permanent (1)

 

Quadra is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to support business development across key markets in Texas and the Northeastern U.S., including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio. Ideally based in Dallas, TX, or within one of these markets, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by driving growth and building strong, lasting relationships with customers.

What would be your main responsibilities as an Account Manager?

  • Drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and industry networking.
  • Leverage Quadra’s reputation for service excellence to build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Qualify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and sell Quadra’s superior product line through customer visits, joint calls, and industry events.
  • Manage and expand key customer accounts, ensuring alignment with Quadra’s core values and strategic vision.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin targets by balancing new business development with customer retention.
  • Support customers with troubleshooting, optimization opportunities, and after-hour needs as required.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring requirements are integrated and executed effectively.
  • Deliver professional presentations, proposals, and reports with strong communication skills.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Conduct business in a disciplined, organized, and time-efficient manner to maximize customer engagement.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or Science (Food Science, Biology would be a strong asset)
  • At least 5+years of experience in client prospecting and business development within the food distribution or food manufacturing space
  • Demonstrated success in sales within the Food Industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and retaining customers.
  • Background in product formulation and Food Science background would be an asset but not required
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities, identify opportunities, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while embracing new technologies and situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight and international travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Compensation:
The expected base salary range for this position is $81,700.00 to 127,700.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and qualifications. Our salary ranges are carefully benchmarked by role and level, ensuring competitive pay that rewards your expertise.
