The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative for our Customer Service Representative role in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As the Customer Service Representative, you will drive new sources of revenue, through selling service agreements and effectively managing customer accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving new Service and Parts revenue within an assigned territory to meet sales targets
  • Prospecting for new business, effectively managing sales leads, and securing new customer accounts by offering tailored solutions and maintenance programs
  • Tactfully and professionally negotiating with customers to close deals
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction and retention for assigned accounts
  • Conducting regular customer site visits and meeting with new prospective customers
  • Producing leads and opportunities for all business units
  • Tracking leads and maintaining accurate records in the CRM

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • At least one year of outside B2B sales experience
  • Previous heavy-duty machinery or material handling industry experience is a strong asset
  • Previous experience within the dock and door industry is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong motivation, resiliency, and drive to succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and exercise strong judgment
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the region as needed

The base pay range for this role is: $45,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience. On target earnings for year one are estimated between $75,000 and $100,000.

This is an onsite role based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
