What We're Looking For

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.

Previous sales experience is helpful, but previous automotive experience is not required.

A successful Bilingual Sales Representative should be:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Friendly and confident talking with people
  • Motivated by goals and earning potential
  • Competitive
  • Coachable
  • Dependable
  • Organized
  • Positive and professional
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and in person
  • Willing to learn and follow a proven sales process
  • Available to work a full-time retail schedule, including Saturdays

Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, restaurants, hospitality, wireless sales, insurance, banking, or another customer-facing position can be helpful.

We are more interested in your ability to connect with people, your work ethic, and your desire to succeed than whether you have ever sold a vehicle.

What You'll Do

As a Bilingual Sales Representative, you will:

  • Assist English- and Spanish-speaking customers
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries
  • Build relationships with prospective customers
  • Ask questions to understand each customer's needs and budget
  • Help customers identify the right new or pre-owned vehicle
  • Explain vehicle features and available options
  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
  • Respond to internet and phone leads
  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments
  • Follow up consistently with prospective customers
  • Help Spanish-speaking customers feel comfortable and understood throughout the buying process
  • Build repeat and referral business
  • Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity
  • Work with management throughout the purchasing process
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after the sale
A Growing Opportunity

Farris generates more than 1,000 incoming customer leads every month through internet inquiries, phone calls, marketing, social media, repeat customers, and referrals.

Our Spanish-speaking customer base is also continuing to grow.

We need someone who can make those customers feel comfortable, understood, and confident doing business with Farris.

Your ability to speak Spanish isn't just another qualification here. It's a valuable skill.

It gives you the opportunity to build relationships with customers who want to communicate in Spanish, develop repeat and referral business, and create a loyal customer base of your own.

Your job is to respond quickly, build trust, understand what the customer needs, follow up consistently, and help create an exceptional vehicle-buying experience.

For the right Bilingual Sales Representative, that creates significant income potential.

Paid Training and Career Growth

You do not need automotive experience before you start.

Farris provides paid training designed to develop your skills in:

  • Professional sales
  • Customer communication
  • Vehicle product knowledge
  • Lead follow-up
  • Appointment setting
  • Vehicle demonstrations
  • Customer relationship building
  • The automotive buying process
  • Professional development

If you already know how to sell, we'll teach you automotive.

If you're great with people and have the drive to succeed, we'll help you develop the sales skills needed to build a successful career.

Build More Than a Sales Job

This is an opportunity to develop a professional sales career while using a skill that is increasingly valuable to our customers.

Farris invests heavily in employee development and promotes from within.

A successful Bilingual Sales Representative can advance into higher-level sales and leadership opportunities.

Your performance, work ethic, and willingness to grow can determine how far you take your career.

About Farris

Farris has been family-owned since 1929 and has built its reputation by investing in our customers, employees, and communities.

As our Spanish-speaking customer base continues to grow, we want every customer to receive the same exceptional experience and have the opportunity to communicate comfortably throughout the vehicle-buying process.

Being family-owned allows us to focus on developing our employees instead of treating them like numbers.

We believe a motivated employee deserves strong training, real earning potential, advancement opportunities, and leadership that is invested in helping them succeed.
