About the Role
CSL Technology Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Project Coordinator โ€“ Commercial Electrical Projects to support the successful planning and execution of commercial electrical and technology projects.
This role is responsible for helping projects stay organized, scheduled, documented, and ready for field execution. The Project Coordinator will work closely with sales, project management, field teams, vendors, and customers to coordinate schedules, equipment, tools, materials, purchasing needs, billing support, logistics, and project documentation.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with early-career project coordination experience, construction or electrical exposure, field service coordination experience, or a background in purchasing, logistics, billing, materials, or project administration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project schedules with project managers, sales, field supervisors, technicians, vendors, and customers.
  • Help ensure labor, tools, equipment, and materials are ready before work begins.
  • Track project dates, deadlines, job status, open items, and follow-up tasks.
  • Support purchasing and material coordination, including vendor follow-up, order tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Assist with bills of material, job packets, project documentation, project notes, and closeout information.
  • Communicate schedule changes, material delays, field needs, and project updates to the appropriate team members.
  • Support billing, invoicing, purchase order, and project cost documentation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project information in company systems, spreadsheets, calendars, and project management tools.
  • Help coordinate communication between sales, project management, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Support successful project execution by identifying gaps, following up on action items, and helping remove coordination obstacles.
  • Travel occasionally to support job sites, customer locations, vendors, warehouses, or project needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong organization, scheduling, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, tasks, and priorities at the same time.
  • Comfortable working with office staff, field teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail when tracking schedules, materials, documents, and action items.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general office technology.
  • Ability to learn company systems, project management tools, and construction/electrical terminology.
  • Valid Ohio driverโ€™s license required.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial construction, electrical contracting, low-voltage systems, technology systems, field service, or a related trade environment.
  • Experience with project coordination, project administration, dispatch, purchasing, logistics, billing, or materials coordination.
  • Familiarity with bills of material, purchase orders, work orders, job schedules, project documentation, drawings, submittals, or closeout documents.
  • Experience with time estimating based on project scope, materials, labor needs, and project requirements preferred.
  • Experience communicating with field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, customers, or project managers.
  • Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, QuickBooks, and Quickbase preferred.
  • Background knowledge of construction or electrical work is helpful, but CSL is willing to train the right candidate.

Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based coordination role supporting commercial electrical and technology projects. The position involves daily communication with sales, project management, field teams, vendors, customers, and internal operations staff.
Occasional travel to job sites, customer locations, vendors, warehouses, or project locations may be required. Company vehicles may be used for approved business travel.
