Job Title: Revenue Operations Manager

Job Location: Great Falls, MT

Department: Revenue Operations

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Job Overview: Vision Net, Montanaโ€™s state-wide fiber optic network and premier data center provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Revenue Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing and managing the end-to-end revenue life cycle of telecommunications products and services. This role ensures accurate customer contract administration, revenue assurance, sales operations alignment, commission management, and reporting. The position serves as a bridge between Sales, Order Management, Marketing, Finance, Service Delivery, and Network Operations to maximize revenue capture, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

This position demands excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, sharp attention to detail, and an ability to work collaboratively. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, a positive attitude and the energy to drive continued company growth. This position will regularly interact with every department leader and the Executive Leadership team; as such, the candidate must be capable of condensing large amounts of information into a concise presentation and delivery both verbally and written.

Essential Job Duties and Key Responsibilities: Revenue Operations Management
  • Own the order-to-cash lifecycle from contract execution through billing.
  • Monitor and improve revenue workflows to reduce leakage.
  • Recommend operational controls that ensure accurate customer invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Develop revenue assurance programs to identify unbilled services, rating discrepancies, and revenue leakage.
  • Perform reconciliations between OSS, BSS, CRM, and ERP platforms.
  • Develop and maintain key metric dashboards for executive leadership accurately tracking MRR, ARR and other defined measures.
  • Lead cause analysis and corrective actions for revenue-impacting issues.
  • Identify workflow automation opportunities.
  • Lead and document continuous improvement initiatives
Sales Operations
  • Support quoting, pricing, contract administration, and deal desk functions.
  • Maintain product catalogs and pricing structures.
  • Validate profitability and margin targets for new service offerings.
  • Manage sales commission and incentive calculations
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in revenue operations, sales, marketing accounting, or related experience, preferably in telecommunications that demonstrates the ability to undertake this role.
  • Technical Domain Expertise:
    • OSS/BSS systems
    • CRM platforms
    • ERP systems
    • Advanced Excel and Power BI
    • Revenue analytics and reporting
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree required. Masterโ€™s preferred. A combination of education and work experience which demonstrates the ability to fulfill the job requirements is equally acceptable. Certified Revenue Management Professional (CRMP) credential is also preferred.
  • Travel Requirements: Limited. Less than 10% on an as needed basis only. Working Conditions:
  • Full-time in office. Hybrid schedule eligible to the right candidate.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
