Job description

First Weber is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our busy real estate sales office in Brookfield, WI. Must have excellent recruiting and retention abilities to propel the offices to the next level. Recruit, select, train, motivate and retain sales associates and support staff for the successful performance of the branch office and contribute to fulfilling company-wide objectives. Provide leadership in all support and sales associate areas to ensure accomplishment of position objectives. This role is an in-office position. Travel to company meetings and events is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and retention of agents.
  • Weekly agent development activities.
  • Weekly sales meetings.
  • Sales associate transaction support.
  • Stay up to date with market, technology and sales skills.
  • Actively promote affiliated company businesses and work to increase the capture rate of affiliates.
  • Track office performance metrics such as sales revenue, property statistics, sales associate productivity, and market share.
  • Manage, develop and provide direction to administrative staff.
  • Actively participate in community activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field with advanced professional management training; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years real estate sales experience.
  • Active real estate license.
  • Active real estate broker license preferred.
  • Demonstrated background and skills in real estate sales.
  • Strong technology skills – Microsoft, CRM, MLS.
  • Ability to travel to company meetings and events.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities; effective recruiting, training, and managing performance of people; conflict/change management skills.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills: ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of quality and detail orientation.
  • High degree of integrity; knowledgeable of the technical skills related to real estate; must possess financial skills to manage the operational budget.
  • Ability to work independently and under extreme deadline pressure, resourceful and action oriented.
