Symmetrio is recruiting for their client, a global leader in medical device, for a Professional Services Sales Manager to drive adoption of consulting and service solutions across health systems, cancer centers, and radiation oncology departments. This is an individual contributor role.
This role will focus on selling high value professional services that helps healthcare organizations improve operational efficiency, optimize clinical workflows, and maximize the performance of radiation oncology programs.
The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with experience working with hospitals or health systems and a strong understanding of oncology, medical technology, or healthcare operations. This individual will partner closely with clinical, technical, and commercial teams to identify opportunities where professional services can improve clinical outcomes, operational performance, and financial results. The role requires travel (35%) and proximity to a major airport is desirable.
Compensation target is $300k OTE ($150k base).
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with the team for professional and consulting services within radiation oncology and cancer care programs
• Engage hospital executives, department leaders, and clinical stakeholders to understand operational challenges and align service offerings with their needs
• Sell consulting services focused on workflow optimization, operational efficiency, program development, and technology implementation
• Partner with product sales teams and account managers to expand service opportunities within existing accounts
• Develop proposals, value analyses, and ROI models to demonstrate the impact of professional services engagements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of sales experience in healthcare, medical technology, or healthcare consulting
• Experience selling professional services, consulting, or enterprise solutions to hospitals or health systems
• Strong understanding of oncology, radiation therapy, or hospital operations is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to multiple stakeholders within large healthcare organizations
• Strong financial acumen and ability to communicate ROI and operational impact
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel as needed to support customer engagements

• Experience working with radiation oncology departments
