Job description

Job Overview:
Join a high-visibility Sales Effectiveness team focused on helping our DSD (Direct Store Delivery) organization sell smarter, service better and operate seamlessly through modern, digital ways of working. This role will be a key driver of digital transformation, training, and adoption -translating new tools and capabilities into the daily/weekly routines of our sales team. You will design and deliver scalable training, enablement, and adoption efforts-partnering with Sales, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable usage, proficiency, and sustained field performance.
This position will specifically focus on one of our three DSD Business Units - the North Business Unit. The geography that this role covers is approximately one third of the United States.
Location: North Business Unit
Travel: Up to ~50% (field rides, trainings, regional sessions)
Key responsibilities
Sales Enablement, Training & Field Adoption
  • Develop/curate enablement assets (job aids, huddle guides, FAQs, manager talking points, train-the-trainer packs) and coordinate reviews with program leadership.
  • Lead and support training of DSD sales teams, incorporating proven approaches like workshops, video shorts, and ongoing support cadences.
  • Partner with frontline leaders (DSS/TL/RVP) to reinforce usage, coach in the flow of work, and close capability gaps through ride-alongs and targeted follow-ups.
  • Spend time with field leaders (virtual huddles or in-person) to coach desired behaviors, troubleshoot adoption barriers, and reinforce expectations.
  • Establish and run a feedback loop (field input → prioritization → updated training/comms) to continuously improve sales enablement and adoption.
  • Identify barriers (process, data, usability, capability), and drive corrective actions across training, comms, and support.
  • Reinforce adoption through leadership channels, change champions, and local follow-through.

Sales Effectiveness Reporting, Planning & Communications
  • Support Sales Effectiveness reporting rhythms (scorecards, benchmarking, ad-hoc insights) and contribute to leadership meetings (MORs, AOPs, governance updates).
  • Draft and manage consistent field communications (launch updates, "what's changing," "how to win," tips & tricks"), coordinating with broader enablement channels.
  • Define, track, and report adoption and readiness indicators (usage, engagement, proficiency signals, qualitative feedback) and translate insights into actions for leaders and product teams.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $96,800 - $115,00/ year
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in CPG sales, sales enablement, analytics, training, or related field or Masters in a related field and minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of DSD field roles and routines; credibility with frontline leaders and comfort coaching in the trade environment.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training (virtual + live), with the ability to translate complex workflows into simple field behaviors.
  • Skill in facilitation, public speaking, and moderating small and large groups
  • Expertise in motivating and coaching individuals and influencing across a complex network.
  • Strong program/project management skills; ability to lead workstreams end-to-end, manage timelines, and coordinate across stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
