Reporting to the Senior Manager Sales Effectiveness, this position plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth by providing analytical insight, operational support, and strategic recommendations that improve sales execution, forecasting accuracy, and customer retention. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to optimize pipeline performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support scalable growth initiatives. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for someone who blends analytics, business acumen, and practical sales understanding.

Essential Responsibilities:

Forecasting & Revenue Planning

  • Support annual sales planning and budgeting processes, including baseline forecasts and growth assumptions
  • Manage special forecast updates, including special/seasonal initiatives
  • Analyze forecast performance, identify variances, and highlight risks and opportunities to leadership
  • New Business & Pipeline Effectiveness
  • Support pipeline management and analysis, including lead flow, stage duration, conversion rates, and win/loss trends
  • Provide insights into new business performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement that enable sales leaders to proactively manage pipeline health
  • KPI Tracking & Gap Analysis
  • Define, track, and report on key sales effectiveness metrics
  • Conduct gap analysis versus targets at territory, segment, and rep levels
  • Translate data into clear insights and action-oriented recommendations for sales leaders
  • Lost Business & Account Risk Monitoring
  • Perform lost business analysis to identify root causes, trends, and preventable losses
  • Monitor account activity, service utilization, and buying patterns to flag at-risk customers
  • Partner with Sales and Service teams to support retention strategies and recovery plans

Territory Optimization & Expansion

  • Support territory design, optimization, and expansion analysis, including workload balance and growth opportunity
  • Evaluate customer and prospect coverage to identify whitespace and expansion opportunities
  • Provide data-backed recommendations to improve territory effectiveness and customer reach
  • Special Growth Initiatives
  • Support implementation and monitoring of targeted growth initiatives such as touch plans, upsell/cross sell campaigns, web ordering adoption, and more
  • Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that drive visibility and execution
