Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be the first point of contact with potential clients, responsible for creating and qualifying opportunities that drive revenue growth. You'll partner closely with Account Executives to connect with decision-makers, identify needs, and generate interest in ACTIVE's solutions. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in generating new business opportunities for ACTIVE Network by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. This individual will be responsible for outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead nurturing to build a healthy pipeline for the Account Executive team. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, coachable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and interest level.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and live passes for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized activity tracking within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns and cadences.
  • Research and identify potential prospects within assigned markets or verticals.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline goals.
  • Continuously learn about ACTIVE's products, competitors, and market trends.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role (internships or entry-level experience welcome).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and able to handle objections confidently.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar CRM/prospecting tools is a plus.
