Civix is hiring an energetic, driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our growing software sales team. The SDR will play a critical role in building Civix’ sales pipeline for the Go Elect, Go Ethics, and Go Register product lines.

About Civix

Civix delivers modern software and services that transform the public sector. Our Go Suite of cloud-based solutions — including Go Elect, Go Ethics, and Go Register — helps state and local government agencies run secure elections, strengthen ethics and transparency oversight, and modernize business registration and licensing. Civix combines deep public sector expertise with modern technology to make government more efficient, secure, and accessible.

Requirements:

Duties and responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from prospects and qualify leads before handing off to Account Executives
  • Conduct multi-touch outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified opportunities within government agencies
  • Gain, maintain, and articulate a working knowledge of ethics, business services and elections industry trends sufficient to establish credibility.
  • Document all touchpoints and sales-related activities in HubSpot (CRM)
  • Attain assigned activity and booked meeting goals
  • Additional duties as assigned by the VP of Sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or public sector-related experience; prior SDR/BDR or GovTech experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities at once
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach)
  • Experience selling SaaS technology solutions a plus.
