Job description

Description

Sifted Logistics Intelligence ("Sifted") is at the forefront of logistics optimization, providing a cutting-edge SaaS platform and predictive analytics tools designed to revolutionize the way parcel shippers manage their operations.

Our platform goes beyond traditional consulting methods, empowering businesses to continuously calibrate, automate, and monitor their shipping spend, carriers, and contracts with unparalleled precision and insight.

We're driving a transformative shift in the logistics industry, redefining what's possible for our clients - and AI is at the core of that evolution.

At Sifted, we don't just use AI - we depend on it. Our proprietary SiftedAI platform delivers predictive intelligence and automation that enable businesses to make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions. Internally, every employee is expected to leverage AI to optimize how they think, create, and deliver. We believe mastering AI is fundamental to our speed, excellence, and competitive edge.

Be part of a company that created a category and is continuously building. If you get excited about defining market verticals and making an impact, Sifted is the place for you. Join us and be a part of something extraordinary.

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving Sifted's growth. Your mission: build pipeline by connecting with potential customers, sparking interest, and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executive team. You'll be on the front line of SaaS sales - prospecting, cold calling, emailing, leveraging tools, and making an impact every single day. This is a high-growth entry point into SaaS sales.

What's in it for you - the three most important things:

Career Growth and Advancement - You'll be on a fast track to a bigger sales role, with the ability to advance in as little as 90 days based on performance.

High-Earning Potential - Competitive On Target Earnings (salary + commission) of $80,000 in your first year and a strong compensation structure that rewards top performance.

Cutting-Edge SaaS Solution - Sell a truly differentiated, category-creating platform that helps companies transform the way they manage parcel logistics - making every conversation with prospects meaningful.

This role isn't for everyone - please read carefully. Here are five reasons you would NOT apply:

  • You are uncomfortable with proactive outreach, cold calls, or high-volume prospecting.
  • You struggle with rejection and find it difficult to bounce back after a "no."
  • You don't like working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • You resist coaching, feedback, and continuous skill improvement.
  • You prefer routine and predictability over challenge and growth.

We have a lot of talented people working at Sifted - in this role today. Here are ways to describe the kind of person we are looking for:

  • You are looking for a new challenge at a critical point in your career.
  • You are motivated by impact - your work matters, and it's critical to our growth.
  • You want to sell a category-defining SaaS product that solves real pain points for people, not just the companies they work for.
  • You thrive on competition and love winning.
  • You're excited by the fast-track-to-promotion-opportunities at Sifted.
  • You value collaboration with high-performing Account Executives who want you to win.
  • You want recognition for performance, not just tenure.
  • You're drawn to a supportive and transparent culture that values direct communication and feedback.

Requirements

  • Prospecting and building pipeline through calls, emails, video, and LinkedIn (100-300 target accounts).*
  • Leading conversations that uncover prospect pain points and highlight Sifted's value.*
  • Partnering with AEs to qualify and advance opportunities.
  • Managing leads and activities in Salesforce, Outreach, and Vidyard.*
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quotas for qualified meetings.*
  • Based in or willing to work from our Overland Park, KS office.*

Desired Traits

  • Resilience - Bounce back from rejection and keep pipeline moving.
  • Coach-ability - Learn quickly, apply feedback, and role-play to improve.
  • Communication - Build trust quickly through clear, confident messaging.
  • Competitiveness - Thrive on goals, quotas, and leaderboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI as a core tool for problem-solving and innovation.*

What We Provide

  • Strong compensation plan with base plus commission.
  • A supportive and transparent work culture that encourages innovation and growth.
  • A variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family's needs.
  • 401K program to help you invest in your future.
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life blend.
  • Starting salary $58,000 + commission with performance based opportunity to advance within 90 days.

*Denotes an essential function/qualification of the role.
