We are seeking two experienced Senior Managers, Business Development, to lead and develop high-performing Business Development teams. This posting represents two leadership opportunities within the organization:

  • Senior Manager, Strategic Outbound Business Development - Responsible for leading a team focused on strategic prospecting, account development, and generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach in partnership with the 1P Merchants.

  • Senior Manager, Inbound Business Development - Responsible for leading a team focused on qualifying inbound demand, optimizing lead management, and converting marketing-generated opportunities into qualified sales pipeline.

Candidates will be considered for the role that best aligns with their leadership experience, operational strengths, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers to achieve performance objectives and drive business growth.

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and customer-focused culture through effective coaching, talent development, and succession planning.

  • Drive accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence across the team.

Business Performance

  • Establish and manage team goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.

  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, productivity, forecast accuracy, and overall team performance.

  • Leverage data, insights, and best practices to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and CRM discipline.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, Product, and Merchandising teams to drive lead generation, qualification, pipeline growth, and customer engagement.

  • Align on account strategies, campaign effectiveness, revenue goals, and qualified opportunity handoffs.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business development performance and customer outcomes.

Outbound Business Development Strategy

  • Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies aligned with target markets, strategic accounts, and growth priorities.

  • Partner with 1P Merchants, Sales Leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, build account plans, and drive customer acquisition.

  • Optimize targeting, outreach, and engagement strategies to maximize qualified pipeline generation and conversion.

  • Coach Business Development Managers on prospecting, executive engagement, value-based selling, and objection handling while continuously refining strategies through performance insights.

Inbound Business Development Strategy

  • Lead inbound business development programs focused on lead qualification, conversion, and pipeline generation.

  • Optimize lead management processes, customer experience, and speed-to-lead performance through data-driven improvements.

  • Partner with Marketing on lead quality, routing, campaign performance, and demand generation initiatives.

  • Coach Business Development Managers on discovery, qualification, and consultative engagement techniques to improve funnel performance and customer outcomes.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Inside Sales, Sales Leadership, or related commercial roles.

  • Proven success leading and developing high-performing business development or sales teams.

  • Experience managing pipeline generation, performance metrics, operational KPIs, and revenue growth initiatives.

  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales organizations and leading inbound and/or outbound demand generation strategies.
