Job description

Position: Direct Sales Account Representative
Location: Remote (Located within the Traverse City surrounding area)
Summary of Position:
The Cherry Republic Direct Sales Account Representative is responsible for executing day-to-day operational tasks across Direct Sales channels, including Corporate Gifts, Mail Order, and web, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Collaborating closely with the Service Center Manager, this role ensures a seamless customer experience and cohesive sales and marketing efforts.
Essential Duties:
  • Assist customer in all Direct Sales channels including Service Center, Corporate Gifts and Web (training provided).
  • Engage our customers via phone, live chat and email to assist customers with order, invoicing, service, website and retail inquiries.
  • Manage end-to end order process from quotes through order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Manage lead generation and responsive follow-ups in line with service standards.
  • Collect, interpret, and communicate customer data for strategic planning to carry out sales initiatives.

Necessary Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of the Direct Sales team to fulfill business needs.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM System, Microsoft Office and comfortable with computer navigation.
  • Open to receiving constructive feedback and commitment to positive change.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to break down these goals into clear action steps that are communicated to staff and managers.
  • Continuous learning attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Direct Sales Account Representative reports directly to the Service Center Manager.
Qualifications for the Job: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability you are required to possess. Reasonable accommodations may be made, should you have a disability, to allow you to perform the essential functions.
  • Education and/or Experience- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2-4 years of proven inside sales or management leadership experience.
  • Language Skills- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to calculate numbers and recognize patterns when analyzing data.
  • Reasoning Ability- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to communicate issues accurately and thoroughly to all individuals involved.
  • Physical Requirements- This position requires long periods of time sitting in a stationary position roughly 50% during any given day. Occasional moving about the work area (accessing office equipment or attending meetings) is required.
  • Computer Skills- A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office is required to be successful in this position.
  • Availability– Monday through Friday, 9:00 am EST to 5:00 pm EST during the non-holiday season (January through September); Some Saturdays required. Night and weekend availability may be required during the holiday season (October through December).
