Job description

Senior Field Marketing Events Manager, North America

At Deel, we're building the infrastructure that powers the future of work. As our North America business continues to scale, events play a critical role in driving pipeline, strengthening customer relationships, accelerating brand awareness, and supporting our go-to-market strategy.

We're looking for a Senior Field Events Manager to own and evolve our North America field events strategy. This is a highly strategic, hands-on role responsible for building and delivering a best-in-class portfolio of trade shows, executive experiences, hospitality programs, customer events and regional marketing activations that create measurable commercial impact.

You'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships and Executive Leadership to identify the highest-value opportunities, translate business priorities into exceptional experiences, and continuously raise the standard of how Deel shows up in the market.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Planning

  • Own the North America Field Events strategy, aligning event investments with regional business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Build and manage the annual field events roadmap across key North American markets.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase Deel's visibility, customer engagement and commercial impact through events.
  • Develop scalable event frameworks, processes and playbooks that enable sustainable growth.

Event Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, executive hospitality, customer events, regional activations and owned marketing experiences.
  • Create exceptional attendee journeys that reflect Deel's brand and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Partner with Brand, Campaigns, Product Marketing and Content teams to ensure events are fully integrated into wider marketing initiatives.
  • Manage external agencies, production partners, venues and suppliers to deliver best-in-class experiences.

Commercial Impact

  • Partner with Sales leadership to prioritise markets, accounts and strategic opportunities.
  • Measure event success through pipeline generation, influenced revenue, customer engagement, brand awareness and ROI.
  • Analyse event performance and continuously optimise programs using data and insights.
  • Manage regional event budgets, forecasting and investment planning to maximise business impact.

Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships and Executive Leadership.
  • Champion operational excellence through automation, AI and scalable ways of working.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing development of the global events function.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas that elevate Deel's event strategy.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience leading B2B field marketing events within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven experience developing event strategies that drive pipeline, customer engagement and business growth.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales, demand generation and integrated marketing.
  • Experience managing large-scale trade shows, executive hospitality and customer events.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with confidence partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect event investment to measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation and event technology to improve efficiency and attendee experience.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel across North America as required.

Total Rewards

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
  • Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
  • We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
  • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role, employment status and location
  • Additional perks and benefits based on your employment status and country
  • The flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access

At Deel, we're an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity and positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of race, religion, sex, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, pregnancy or maternity or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
