HR Coordinator
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite)

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of HR experience and a strong foundation in benefits administration, employee onboarding, unemployment claim management, and HRIS systems such as ADP, Paycom, or Paylocity.
Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred. This role will serve as a key resource for employees and managers while ensuring HR processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Support
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Manage employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Conduct offboarding processes, including exit interviews and HR documentation.
  • Maintain personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Benefits Administration
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, life event changes, and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and insurance carriers to resolve employee issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits-related transactions.
HRIS Administration
  • Maintain employee data and records within ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as requested.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Unemployment & Compliance
  • Respond to unemployment claims and requests for information.
  • Partner with managers to gather documentation for claims and hearings.
  • Support compliance efforts related to federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with policy updates and employee communications.
Recruiting & Talent Support
  • Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings and background checks.
  • Support recruiting activities and hiring initiatives as needed.
Employee Support
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers.
  • Respond to HR-related questions and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Support employee engagement and company culture initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience administering employee benefits.
  • Experience handling unemployment claims and responses.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Preferred
  • Mortgage industry experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
  • Exposure to payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of employment law, FMLA, ADA, and leave administration.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

$50,000 - $55,000 a year
