Job description

Arlluk Technology Solutions, LLC is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of an Agile Program Consultant with a Secret Clearance to support ATS and our government customer at Fort Belvoir, VA.

The Agile Program Consultant performs a variety of duties which will include continued overall analysis, review, and working of the various programs and requirements within the ARMY.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Socialize and train senior leaders and key stakeholders on Agile transformation changes and concepts.
  • Act as an agent of change leveraging your Agile acumen to improve the systems development process.
  • Provide training and orientation for senior leaders to adopt Agile and training enablement’s, such that you may train other key roles. Key roles are described as Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Master, and Agile Release Train Engineers.
  • Support the creation of a Lean Agile Center of Excellence and support the execution of backlog grooming. Coordinate with stakeholders to determine the value flow, aides in the recognition of Operational Value Streams,
  • Development Value Streams, Agile Release Trains, and evaluate each flow of value for the most beneficial to launch. 
  • Support the Lean Agile Center of Excellence by planning and formulating the Agile Release Trains launch.
  • Build the implementation plan by preparing the rollout, coordinating new changes, and establishing methods for analysis. May be assigned responsibility for building the Community of Practice
  • Offer coaching to leaders and cultivates the growth of new Agile teams including but not limited to;
  • Fully source training for Agile teams and leaders
  •  Effectively manage launch evolution of backlog preparation
  • Mentor the Agile Release Train Engineers execution by guiding stakeholders to create the Vision, Roadmap, and Program backlogs
  • Move the team from a project-product centric target by centering on Agile Product Delivery
  • Develop change agents to facilitate capacity within the organization to support contemporary Value Streams and begin new Agile Release Trains
  • Lead the Lean Enterprise by using competencies encompassed in the Lean Enterprise. Determine how the organization can develop further in Agile competencies.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  •  Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years of experience including 5 years of specific Agile Program Consultant experience
  • Must be proficient in project management and Agile task management tools, such as, but not limited to the Atlassian suite of products, Azure DevOps, Rational Team Concert, Rally, and ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships
  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating and executing strategic plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
  • Secret Clearance required
