As a Program Manager, you will lead transformative modernization and sustainment efforts for mission-critical enterprise systems within the defense and national security sector. You will leverage your deep expertise in Agile program management, DevSecOps, and advanced technology integration, including AI/ML and cloud security, to guide multidisciplinary teams and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, stakeholder alignment, and the delivery of secure, resilient, and future-ready platforms that directly support the Nation’s. Location: McLean, VA (Remote) Clearance: Active Secret Responsibilities: * Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems. * Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Demonstrates written and oral communication skills.
*  Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
* Serves as the Project Manager for a large, complex task order or a portfolio of related task orders supporting the same system or mission area.
* Assists the Program Manager in coordinating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers (TOMs), Government leadership, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
* Oversees day-to-day management of assigned task order(s), ensuring technical, operational, cost, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved.
* Leads cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Identifies program risks, develops mitigation strategies, and proactively resolves issues impacting project execution.
* Ensures effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting throughout the project lifecycl
Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree
* Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification).
* Project or Program Management certifications from accredited institutions are required. Examples from government and commercial sources include, but are not limited to the Defense Acquisition University, the Program Management Institute, Department of Veterans Affairs as well as Universities and Colleges. Substitutes for a Project or Program Management Certification such as training, degrees or relevant experience, will be considered and must clearly state how the credentials are equivalent to the certifications.
* Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing large, complex IT or consulting programs, with progressively increasing responsibility. Ten (10) years of experience is preferred.
* Demonstrated experience leading enterprise programs consisting of 50 or more personnel.
* Proven experience managing programs with annual contract values exceeding $10 million.
* Experience leading application modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy or custom-developed applications to low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian. Experience focused primarily on cloud migration or cybersecurity modernization alone does not satisfy this requirement.
* Demonstrated experience overseeing the complete project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, user adoption, and operational transition.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams while collaborating with executive leadership, Government customers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
* Preferred to have a SAFe Agile Certification or industry recognized equivalent certification.
