What is SaaS software?

SaaS software, or Software as a Service, is a cloud-based delivery model where users access applications over the internet instead of installing and maintaining them on local devices. This model allows businesses to scale easily, reduce IT overhead, and access their software from anywhere with an internet connection. Popular examples of SaaS include Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365.
