We are unified by our purpose of helping people to succeed. So, when you become part of our team, you also become part of the personal connection that strengthens the relationship people have with Xplor products.

Job Description

As the Marketing Manager for Xplor's Laundry SaaS business unit, you will be responsible for driving demand and pipeline growth for software solutions targeting the North American laundry and dry-cleaning market. In this role, you will run campaigns focused on generating new business, customer expansion (up-sell and cross-sell) and customer retention. You will also be responsible for leading the product marketing and content programs with the goal of continual improvement in the customer experience.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Commercial Performance

  • Grow market share for our products by optimizing existing demand generation channels and building new ones that deliver qualified pipeline
  • Increase share of wallet within the customer base through lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive up-sell, cross-sell and churn reduction, growing net retention
  • In addition to supporting SaaS revenue growth, promote the integrated payments revenue stream through attach campaigns to the installed base and offer expansion
  • Own messaging, positioning and launch execution for Laundry SaaS solutions, improving conversion rates and customer satisfaction across the funnel
  • Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities and go-to-market plans necessary to deliver commercial targets while maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Continuously improve marketing efficiency by driving higher return on marketing spend, lowering CAC and payback period
  • Report on funnel performance with clear KPIs - MQLs, pipeline contribution, CAC and campaign ROI - to hold the plan accountable to targets

Strategy & Vision

  • Shape the marketing vision and strategy for Laundry SaaS in North America, collaborating closely with Product and Sales leaders to identify future growth segments, unique points of differentiation and the go-to-market strategy that supports them
  • Own the marketing plan and budget for Laundry SaaS (working collectively with Finance). This includes annual campaign planning, channel investment allocation and in-year quarterly reforecasting of demand targets.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Product and Customer Success so the marketing plan is aligned to and accountable for in-year commercial targets
  • Act as the marketing voice for Laundry SaaS. Rally internal stakeholders and agency partners around campaign priorities and deliver against plans
  • Mentor marketing specialists and coordinators, building upon each one's strengths and providing support to address their development areas.
  • Have a bias to action ("Move with Purpose" Principle), being data driven but also knowing when to move
  • Be a culture champion, intentionally bring our "Create Lasting Communities" value to life, both in how we market to customers and in making Xplor a fun place to work in a hybrid environment
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model and willing to spend time in the Draper, Utah office to build a strong SaaS marketing culture
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles at a B2B SaaS technology company, with budget ownership
  • Experience marketing SaaS products in an SMB vertical
  • Proven record of accomplishment in driving sustained SaaS pipeline and revenue growth
  • Proven record of using lifecycle and retention campaigns to reduce SaaS churn and lift NDR
  • Proven record of improving marketing efficiency, resulting in lower SaaS CAC, faster payback and stronger campaign ROI
  • Experience running SaaS demand generation, product marketing and content programs end to end
  • Experience scaling SaaS marketing programs and the operating cadence behind them
  • Team player with focus on relationship building and influencing across business boundaries
  • The ability to motivate cross-functional partners in Sales, Product and Customer Success, and work in a matrixed organization
  • Strong track-record of developing marketing talent and managing agency or vendor partners
  • Demonstrated experience in building customer centric messaging grounded in SaaS buyer research
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Hands-on operator and a strong strategic thinker, comfortable in the SaaS marketing tech stack
  • Proven track record of clear communications with senior stakeholders and across cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in data-driven decision-making using SaaS funnel KPIs and campaign metrics
