What You'll Do
As the Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the daily maintenance operation while ensuring our resort remains safe, beautiful, and operating at the highest standards. You'll oversee preventive maintenance, capital improvement projects, grounds, facilities, equipment, and a talented maintenance team that helps create an exceptional experience for every guest.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team
  • Create schedules that maximize efficiency while supporting outstanding guest service
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development
  • Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, safety, and excellence
  • Lead by example, working alongside your team when needed
Maintenance Operations
  • Develop and manage comprehensive preventative maintenance programs
  • Prioritize daily work orders, repairs, and maintenance projects
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and project timelines
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and departmental expenses in partnership with the General Manager
  • Monitor maintenance budgets while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies

Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience managing maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, resorts, RV parks, hotels, or multi-family communities
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, irrigation, pools, and general building maintenance
  • Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs
  • Budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management experience a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities
