Position Overview

The Resort General Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of Lagoon Ranch RV Resort and is responsible for driving exceptional financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and operational excellence.

This leader will oversee all aspects of resort operations while guiding the property through its stabilization phase, building sustainable processes, developing leaders, and creating a culture centered on accountability, service, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires a visible leader who enjoys coaching teams, connecting with guests, solving challenges, and leading by example.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing leadership team and resort associates.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and service-focused culture aligned with CRR Hospitality's Core Values.
  • Create an environment where associates are engaged, empowered, recognized, and inspired to grow.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, owners, community partners, and above-property leadership.
Resort Operations
  • Provide strategic oversight of Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, Retail, Food & Beverage (where applicable), and overall resort operations.
  • Lead the continued stabilization of the resort by implementing operational best practices, refining procedures, and improving efficiencies.
  • Ensure exceptional curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and brand standards throughout the property.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the resort while supporting associates and engaging with guests.
Financial Leadership
  • Assume full responsibility for the resort's financial performance.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Drive revenue growth through occupancy optimization, pricing strategies, labor management, and expense control.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and implement strategies that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Guest Experience
  • Champion an exceptional guest experience through proactive leadership and service excellence.
  • Lead service recovery initiatives while identifying opportunities to continually elevate the guest journey.

Talent Development

  • Represent Lagoon Ranch professionally within the local business community and outdoor hospitality industry.
Asset Management & Compliance
  • Protect and enhance a multimillion-dollar waterfront asset through preventative maintenance and capital improvement planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Promote a safe environment for guests and associates through proactive leadership.
What We're Looking ForPreferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive hospitality leadership experience.
  • Previous General Manager experience within a resort, hotel, luxury campground, RV resort, or multi-unit hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and improving operational performance.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, payroll, and revenue optimization.
  • Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and technology-driven operational improvements.
