Job description

Job Title: Seasonal Housekeeper
Location: Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort, Spearfish, SD
Job Type: Seasonal, Part-Time/Full-Time
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager

Pay Rate: $15/hr

Job Summary:

Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Seasonal Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests by maintaining the cleanliness of cabins, shower houses, and other resort facilities. Duties include general cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize cabins, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shower houses and restrooms by scrubbing surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring a fresh atmosphere.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust common areas and guest accommodations.
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
  • Launder and replace linens, towels, and other guest essentials as needed.
  • Inspect rooms and facilities for damage, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards.
  • Assist with housekeeping inventory management and restocking cleaning supplies.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service to guests when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting up to 30 lbs., and standing for long periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Work Schedule

•         Seasonal (May–October; flexible spring/fall shoulder season opportunities).

•         8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
