Job description

The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. With 810 rooms we are definitely seeking a high energy individual that is eager to learn and grow with our Palace 'Ohana.
The Assistant Front Office Manager will have oversight of the front office staff, cash control for agents, staffing needs, and guest services. Additional responsibilities include training, staff development and scheduling. This is a salaried position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
โ€ข Supports the Front Office Department while working closely with department managers and directors and other hotel divisions.
โ€ข Supervises, coaches and motivates the Front Office team including hourly colleagues and supervisors, towards achieving exceptional guest service results and complete colleague engagement.
โ€ข Ability to execute the hotel goals in reaching service scores on our guest and colleague surveys.
โ€ข Ensure thorough communication and understanding with guests, colleagues and other departments by reviewing hotel events and activities.
โ€ข Support Front Office team in proactively reviewing staffing and equipment needs.
โ€ข Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
โ€ข Administrative tasks may include but limited to the facilitation of payroll, reports, forecasts, point of sale procedures, inventory and budget
โ€ข Performing daily walk-throughs in the Front Office department to ensure full compliance with health and safety of our guest and colleagues.
Salary Range for this position: $67,000 to 75,000.
