Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Business Development Manager to join our Global Sales Team. The BDM will be responsible for developing new opportunities, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will also need to work with people across marketing, partner, and finance to develop and deliver customer offers.

As a BDM you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with high activity which includes qualifying, following up, closing inbound leads, working closely with channel partners, actively generating and closing new prospects through outbound activities. It’s important that you are confident in picking up the phone to speak with new prospects and developing these into leads and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute with Sales Management to establishing Business Development processes by adopting best practices from the local Teams
  • Adhere at KPIs to measure performance
  • Log all activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Prospect via tools (SalesNav, Zoominfo, Drift, etc)
  • Nurture Marketing Qualified Leads converting them into Sales Accepted Leads
  • Focus on outbound prospecting activity with the phone, email and sales tools
  • Follow up and handle inbound leads through online web sales and marketing channels
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executive for further development and closure
  • Maintain and expand pipeline of prospects
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Perform effective video calls and demos to prospects
  • Build and maintain local knowledge of competitive solutions
  • Achieve monthly sales development metrics
  • Provide weekly updates of commercial activities and participate in weekly forecasting and pipeline management calls as necessary

Must Haves:

  • Understand the marketing leads and sales opportunity processes at all stages of the life cycle
  • Confident with the ability to influence key, senior stakeholders within organizations who will ultimately be the decision-makers
  • Able to grasp new technology and communicate value to prospective customers
  • Track record of over-achieving sales development metrics
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work with CRM and marketing tools such as SAP or similar tools
  • Willingness to adjust working hours to accommodate multiple time-zones
  • Travel, must be willing to travel up to 70%
  • Valid Drivers license & Passport
  • 2+ years’ experience of sales experience within the industrial market.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
