Job description

Industrial Valve Sales and Service is looking for an Actuator Technician that will be responsible for performing actuator repair, troubleshoot, install and commissioning as well as directing and mentoring individuals who perform work with them while at a customer's job site or in the shop. The Actuator Technician should be proficient at electric and pneumatic actuators, auxiliary gears and of course proper work rules.
Job Duties
o Experience installing Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
o Experience installing and troubleshooting actuator controls
o Experienced with stainless steel tube bending and installation.
o Installation of seal kit for Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
o Disassembly, reassembly and troubleshooting Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
o Experienced in rigging and using service truck crane
o Experience with Limitorque, Rotork, EIM actuators is preferred
Requirements
o Valid Driver's License
o 5 to 10 years' experience working on natural gas pipelines preferred
o Ability to clearly communicate with customer.
o Able to maintain a DOT physical year to year
