Pay Rate : $29.00 / Hour

Location: Cupertino, CA

Shifts: Monday through Friday (occassional weekends needed)

Day: 10:00AM - 6:00PM

Requirements:

    Must be comfortable with potential schedule changes

  • Active California Security Guard Card License (required)

  • Proficient with technology preferred

  • Valid California Driver's License (minimum 1 year, clean record)

  • Physically able to walk, run, hike or bike up to 10 miles per day

The Security Officer Field Test Specialist is a professional, detail-oriented individual responsible for serving as a Field Test Specialist and Security Coordinator. Operating in a business-focused environment that prioritizes customer service, confidentiality, and integrity, this role facilitates secure and efficient field testing activities. Responsibilities include accompanying engineers and contractors on designated routes whether driving, biking, hiking, or running, while ensuring their safety and security. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate strong situational awareness, and excel in collaborative, professional settings. This is also a driving position, offering the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with supervisors to arrange field test schedules, vehicles, and logistics.
Meet and escort engineers or contractors to the designated test vehicle.
Safely transport engineers/contractors along predefined routes or to specific sites for testing purposes.
Monitor activities during field tests to maintain a secure environment.
Ensure all equipment, including secure Pelican cases, remains protected when engineers step out for breaks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Physically able to walk, run, hike or bike up to 10 miles per day
  • Valid driver's license minimum 1 year; clean
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    *A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
