Job description

New Tech Global is seeking a Cleanroom Technician - GMP Manufacturing to support a leading biotechnology manufacturing facility near The Woodlands, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining GMP cleanroom environments, supporting manufacturing operations, performing material handling activities, and ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and established SOPs.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with cleanroom, GMP, biotech, pharmaceutical, sterile processing, compounding, or manufacturing support experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform GMP room and cleanroom cleaning in controlled manufacturing environments
  • Follow established SOPs, cGMP requirements, and quality standards
  • Complete gowning procedures and work within grade-controlled cleanroom environments
  • Document all activities accurately, including cleaning logs, batch records, and GMP documentation
  • Support material kitting and material transfers for manufacturing operations
  • Operate equipment including autoclaves, washers, balances/scales, mixers, and biological safety cabinets
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Support routine and deep-cleaning activities including walls, ceilings, and manufacturing surfaces
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and email
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work in a regulated environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred
  • 1-2+ years of GMP, cleanroom, or regulated manufacturing experience
  • Biotech, pharmaceutical, cell therapy, compounding, or sterile processing experience
  • Previous gowning experience
  • Experience working within SOP-driven environments
  • Biotech-related education or training programs considered
Work Environment
