As Director of the FullTime MBA Program at Mays Business School, you will shape the vision, direction, and daily experience of one of Texas's premier graduate business programs. Salary: Starting at $135,000/annually

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Ten years of related experience in management.

Opportunities to Contribute

Leadership

  • Works cooperatively with the Director of the MS Analytics, Executive MBA, Professional MBA, and Flex Online MBA programs.

  • Plans and executes all Full-Time MBA data requests from internal and external parties, including the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, the Dean, and all ranking organizations.

  • Monitors local and national MBA program developments and evaluates the significance of these developments on the MaysFull-Time MBA Program.

  • Ensures that programs, activities, and services comply with University, State, and Federal regulations.

  • Administers the budget and oversees fiscal operations of the Full-Time MBA program.

  • Develops and seeks funding for departmental programs to promote department mission.

  • Oversees communications, promotions, and public relations for departments.

  • Assesses departmental needs with regards to administrative space, equipment, computing resources, and personnel.

  • Serves on various University, division, and departmental committees and represents departments at various State and National associations.

  • Oversees departmental leadership team.

  • Directs the efforts of and globally supervises departmental staff, setting performance standards and accountabilities.

  • Establishes the direction, goals, agendas, implementation strategies, and policies of departments.

  • Develops short and long-range goals and strategic plans to ensure the continuance of quality programs and facilities.

  • Enhances the development of new programs and services to meet customer needs.

Strategic and Operational

  • Provides strategic leadership for the Mays Full-Time MBA Program and works closely with the Engagement Team on marketing, recruiting, and admissions initiatives.

  • Provides coordination and planning for the overall activities of the Full-Time MBA Program.

  • Works closely with Career Management Center staff to support the recruitment and placement of Full-Time MBA students in internship and permanent employment positions.

  • Provides strategic oversight with respect to financial and budgetary matters.

Student Engagement

  • Provides leadership and assistance in the recruiting and retention of the highest quality Full-Time MBA applicants and students.

  • Oversees the interviewing and counseling of prospective and current Full-Time MBA students.

Curriculum

  • Works closely with Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs, and MBA faculty in providing the intellectual leadership for curriculum changes needed to meet market needs.

  • Works to ensure high quality co-curricular activities.

  • Works with strategic partners. Leads the assessment initiative of Mays Full-Time MBA program.

Representation

  • Serves as the chief liaison and spokesperson for the Mays Full-Time MBA Program.

  • Interacts with external organizations such as AACSB and GMAC.

  • Serves as strategic lead of the MBA Employer Impact Board and other MBA constituents.

  • Working with Career Management Center, plans, coordinates, and executes all Advisory Board Meetings.
