Overview
The primary responsibilities for the front end operations training coordinator are development and implementation of efficient and effective programs for new team member front end training, competency validation, continuing education, workforce development, industry best practice. Responsibilities also include collaborating with practice leaders and practice directors to achieve best practice standards, educational excellent, and implementation of current RMG and health system initiatives. Demonstrates functional expertise in order to provide appropriate training to RMG Directors, Practice Leaders, Front Office Supervisors, Surgical Schedulers, Referral Coordinators, Office Assistants, Communication Assistants and Office Clerks for new initiatives, changes to best practices, and updates to front end systems. Facilitates leadership growth and mentorship to RMG Clerical team members and Front Office Supervisors.
What you will do
  • Coordinates/develops, prioritizes, implements and communicates orientation and educational opportunities for team members and leadership as aligned with RHS strategic mission, vision and values. Utilizes resources, assessment and feedback tools to develop monthly calendar of educational offerings to meet established educational goals for RMG departments. Responsible for competency development for new procedures, education plan for existing team members, incorporation of new procedures into team member orientation and simulation labs, and yearly annual assessments.
  • Leads/coordinates team member annual competency validation and facility orientation in collaboration with HR support, iCare support, RMG Clinical Education team, and RMG leadership to ensure best practice/high quality care/outstanding customer service is performed by all members in accordance with RHS policies/procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Strives to continuously improve patient satisfaction and service through positive patient interactions, observed interactions with team members, managers, directors serving as a consultant with onsite and remote observations on predetermined scheduled intervals.
  • Efficiently and effectively utilizes all information systems/software to input, develop, track, trend, retrieve, and report out real-time data through electronic communication with leaders.
  • Collaborates with RMG senior leadership, practice leaders, and team members to effectively assess learning needs. Develops and implements education plans successfully pertinent to those needs identified.

  • High School Diploma or GED, (Required)

Experience
  • 2 years Medical Office experience (Required)
  • 1 year Training experience (Preferred)
