Job description

High Desert Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Palmdale, CA. We are seeking providers who practice medicine with excellent patient care and customer service. We focus on making sure our providers have a sufficient amount of time to address the patient's needs in a friendly environment.
High Desert Medical Group has been providing excellent medical care for 45 years and is very well respected in the community. We participate in many community events to support and improve overall health, social well-being and also educate and empower citizens to take charge of their health. HDMG offers primary care and an array of specialists, including an Urgent Care Center. We offer candidates an opportunity to grow and make a difference to those we have the privilege to serve.

Position Details
  • Comprehensive training
  • 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm
  • Nurse, medical assistant and front office staff support team
  • Collect subjective data (obtain history).
  • Collect objective data (perform a physical exam).
  • Develop an assessment (diagnosis).
  • Develop and implement a management plan.
  • Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies and resources within the community.
  • Order pharmacologic interventions.
  • Develop and implement an educational plan.
  • Plan for appropriate follow-up care.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $129,700.00 - 180,000.00/ year, exempt; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Requirements
  • CA Medical License
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
  • CA Driver's license active and in good standing.
  • Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish preferred.
  • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
