Job description

People Experience ManagerUS East Office (Jacksonville, FL)

We exist to transform our customers and change lives

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a values-driven People Experience Manager who leads our front desk, facilities, and companywide philanthropy efforts while delivering an exceptional experience for our team members and guests. Based at our Jacksonville, Florida headquarters, this role sets the tone for how people feel when they walk through our doors and how RF-SMART shows up in the community. You'll oversee a team of Office Administrators and serve as the face of the office, bringing strong customer service instincts, adaptability, and a genuine passion for people.

What You'll Do

  • Shape the first impression by overseeing front desk operations and creating a welcoming, professional environment for team members and guests alike.
  • Keep the building running by managing facilities operations, property relationships, seating and capacity planning, vendor contracts, and janitorial and maintenance services.
  • Protect our people by serving as our Health and Safety lead, ensuring OSHA compliance and a consistently safe workplace.
  • Build community from the inside out by leading RF-SMART's philanthropy strategy, designing volunteer programs, charitable giving initiatives, and community partnerships that reflect our values.
  • Create experiences people remember by planning and executing internal and external events that bring our culture to life.
  • Drive operational efficiency by owning and continuously improving our office support ticket system, identifying automation opportunities that free up your team for higher-impact work.
  • Develop your team by leading, mentoring, and supporting four Office Administrators, setting clear expectations, building their capabilities, and showing up for them when it matters most.
  • Steward our resources by managing monthly expense reporting and maintaining budget discipline across your scope.
  • Step in where needed with a solutions-first mindset, including backup receptionist coverage and ad hoc support when the unexpected hits, and it will.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated leadership: you've driven results through others, whether through formal management or by stepping into informal leadership roles that required real ownership.
  • Customer service instincts: you treat colleagues and guests with the same care you'd want for yourself, and people notice.
  • Operational ownership: you follow through, delegate clearly, and don't let things fall through the cracks.
  • Adaptability: you stay grounded when priorities shift, including those moments that require you to show up after hours because something urgent needs your attention.
  • Clear, confident communication: you connect equally well with a new hire, a building vendor, and a senior leader.
  • Organizational rigor: you manage complexity without losing the details that make things actually work.
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency: comfortable working across Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Zoom.
  • Physical capability: able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading philanthropy or volunteer programs, even in a supporting capacity.
  • Background in facilities, hospitality, office operations, or a similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
