JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inventory operations across one or more locations using NetSuite ERP. This role ensures inventory accuracy, availability, valuation integrity, and compliance while driving process improvements and operational efficiency. This position requires hands-on NetSuite expert with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of inventory controls, costing, and reporting.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite, including item masters, locations, bins, lot/serial tracking, and stock levels.
  • Own cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy reconciliation, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and improve inventory KPIs such as accuracy, turnover, shrinkage, and aging.
  • Establish, enforce, and continuously improve inventory control policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
  • Serve as the NetSuite inventory subject-matter expert, overseeing all inventory transactions and system configurations.
  • Manage inventory transactions including purchasing, receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and replenishment.
  • Configure and optimize NetSuite inventory functionality, including multi-location and bin management, lot/serial tracking, demand planning, and costing methods.
  • Develop dashboards, saved searches, and reports to support operational, financial, and audit requirements.
  • Partner with Finance and IT on inventory valuation, period close activities, audits, system enhancements, and integrations.
  • Analyze inventory levels to balance service levels, carrying costs, and working capital.
  • Drive strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and procurement alignment.
  • Identify and implement automation, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction opportunities.
  • Train and support team members and act as the escalation point for inventory system and process issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders, including multi-site inventory operations.
 
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in inventory management;  1+ year NetSuite ERP experience (inventory modules required).
  • Strong understanding of inventory controls, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with inventory costing and valuation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (analysis, pivot tables, lookups).
  • Experience in depot repair, reverse logistics, or distribution environments, preferred.
  • NetSuite certifications or advanced configuration experience, preferred.
  • Experience with serialized, lot-controlled, or regulated inventory, preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background, preferred.
  • Multi-location or multi-warehouse inventory experience, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to lead process improvement and system adoption.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, operational environments.
  • Role is onsite in the Peak Miami location with the ability to travel to other locations as needed.
