QA Automation Engineer II
Jacksonville, FL - Hybrid/Onsite

Who We're Looking For
RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer II to be a part of building the future of RF-SMART products focused on supply chain in multiple industries across mobile, web and server components while working with a great team. As a QA Automation Engineer II, you'll design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites that ensure the reliability and scalability of RF-SMART's software products. You'll collaborate closely with QA, Product, and Development teams to increase automation coverage and drive efficiency in the testing. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative team.
What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement API test automation covering REST, SOAP, and gRPC interfaces to validate service-level functionality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain browser-based automated tests using modern frameworks to ensure consistent cross-browser behavior.
  • Build and maintain automated mobile testing solutions for RF-SMART's mobile applications, including device farm integration and real-device testing strategies.
  • Build robust regression and smoke test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and ensure high reliability of test results.
  • Contribute to strategic automation planning and continuous improvement efforts.

What You Bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in test automation with strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript.
  • Proven experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or similar) with working knowledge of REST, SOAP, and gRPC protocols.
  • Experience automating mobile application testing using frameworks such as Appium, Detox, or comparable tools, including integration with device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm).
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
