Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving & Inbound Logistics
  • LTL Freight Inspection: Inspect incoming Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage.
  • Parts Check-In: Systematically check in purchased parts and fabrication (Fab) deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Material Transfers: Coordinate the physical transfer and routing of parts immediately upon receipt and delivery.
  • Inventory Control & Auditing
  • Cycle Counting: Coordinate and execute scheduled sectional cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Research inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and perform necessary system reconciliations.
  • Obsolescence Management: Monitor stock levels and systematically identify, recommend, and process obsolete inventory for scrap.
  • Warehouse Organization & Location Management
  • Put-Away & Labeling: Put away stock items and ensure all inventory is accurately labeled and easily identifiable.
  • Space Management: Actively manage and optimize the bin and rack locations for both purchased parts and FAB parts to maximize efficiency.
  • Production Support & Administration
  • Job Issuance: Issue inventory and parts to active jobs and projects as required by production schedules.
  • Work Order Management: Complete and close out work orders in the inventory management system in a timely manner.
  • Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and production operations.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of five (5) years of inventory experience.
  • 3 or more years' experience in a business supporting hard goods manufacturing
  • 3 or more years' experience with an ERP System; Sage Mas90/100 preferred
  • Experience with Just in Time inventory
  • Logistics and Safety Stock experience
  • Supply chain management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Able to perform mathematical computations and apply concepts of fractions and percentages to practical situations.
