All about the role:

The Supervisor, Reverse Logistics & Inventory Control leads the team responsible for inventory accuracy and reverse logistics. The role manages customer returns, asset recovery, product disposition, and coordinates inventory processes across all warehouse functions. It includes training and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, resolving daily issues, and driving continuous improvement through audits, cycle counts, and inventory controls.

This position will be based in Fairburn, GA.

What you'll do:

  • Audit processes, address and resolve paper flow errors, correct inconsistencies affecting inventory accuracy while working to investigate, identify, and reconcile discrepancies both physically and systematically.

  • Have charge of the inventory and reverse logistics areas to organize, improve material handling, increase velocity, reduce lead time, and drive asset recovery value.

  • Establish processes and schedules to ensure compliance with corporate accounting objectives and oversee the daily operations for your team.

  • Maintain accurate cycle count records, report findings to internal and external stakeholders, define countermeasures for improvement, and drive corrective actions to address discrepancies in audit findings.

  • Apply and maintain all corporate inventory policies for the distribution center, review and investigate all inventory adjustments for root cause, oversee and drive corrective action for product quality control inquiries.

  • Coordinate the sale and disposition of products for the secondary sales market, reduce process led times to increase inventory velocity, and maximize utilization of space to reduce storage requirements, and ensure accountability and effective material handling across the distribution center.

  • Responsible to deliver and report Inventory and Reverse Logistics Key Performance Indicators.

  • Develop and publish routine performance reports for department and distribution center metrics.

  • Lead the team in root cause analysis to drive damage, inventory, and scrap reduction initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product packaging design, repackaging material requirements, and recovery of finished good assets.

  • Implement and provide feedback on guidelines, processes, and policies to drive standardization, efficiency, and simplification of operational processes.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control and reverse logistics within warehouse operations or distribution logistics.

  • Experience with SAP and familiarity with WMS applications preferred.

  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
