Summary:
The Reverse Logistics Analyst will deliver operational results and lead project  initiatives, relating to the effective and efficient flow of merchandise through the reverse logistics network.  The Analyst will be responsible for the day to day functions within the returns and reverse logistics network and collaborate closely with other Supply Chain and Merchandising departments.  Further, the Analyst will be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of external vendors that support the Reverse Logistics network and ensure that all service s and key performance metrics are achieved.  By supporting an integrated strategy of Customer Return, Reverse Logistics, and Asset Recovery of appliances and general merchandise, the Reverse Logistics Analyst reduces costs and increases efficiency within the supply chain by optimizing network design and flows and evaluating and assessing supply chain partners and inventory buyers.  In addition, this individual will create the models and perform the analysis to make recommendations for optimizing and developing network wide processes and disposition methods.
Essential Functions:
• Develops reporting metrics and presents data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive recovery and reverse logistics business strategy
• Optimizes recovery and profitability by maintaining and improving sustainable operational processes, and external partnerships
• Performs industry benchmarking to ensure that Lowe's has a best-in-class reverse logistics network
• Executes the analysis for the end-to-end process of reverse logistics
• Executes project plans for the launch of new programs, features and strategies
• Makes recommendations for contract and process changes to improve damage rates, vendor contribution and overall recovery rates for Lowe's
• Partners with key internal and external partners to innovate in customer experience, operational excellence, and environmental sustainability initiatives
• Coordinates with a cross-functional team consisting of operations, legal, technology, procurement, merchandising, analytics and inventory management
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or similar field with analytical bias, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years experience across the supply chain (transportation, distribution centers, planning, inventory fulfillment)
