Location: St. Paul, MN 55114
Duration: W2 Contract - 24 Months
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST | Possible Overtime
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $26.25/hour

Position Overview
Seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support hardware production operations through shipping and receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, import/export compliance, and logistics process management. This role works closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and external partners to ensure efficient movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance. Recent graduates with relevant education and internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping, receiving, fulfillment, and reverse logistics activities.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and work with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems and perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Support production schedules by ensuring material availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Assemble, program, configure, and test incoming components to verify quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and improve testing procedures, inspection criteria, quality standards, SOPs, and logistics processes.
  • Investigate shipment issues, inventory discrepancies, defects, and non-conformances, and support corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain teams, vendors, and suppliers to resolve quality and logistics issues.
  • Monitor inventory status, freight costs, shipment tracking, delivery performance, and vendor quality metrics.
  • Manage inventory disposition activities including approvals, quarantines, rejections, repairs, RMAs, and handling of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Open to recent graduates with relevant education and internship/co-op experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or related functions preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar inventory management platforms.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or hardware production environments.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Experience with inventory control, fulfillment operations, and logistics reporting.
