Job description

Job Purpose:
The Reverse Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing equipment and material lifecycle management, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring proper inventory control. This role manages test bench maintenance, equipment returns, e-waste processing, asset recovery, vendor relationships, and direct-to-consumer shipping activities. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to support business objectives.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain and manage test benches to ensure operational readiness, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinates the equipment return process, including tracking, documentation, inspection, and disposition of returned assets.
  • Manage electronic waste (e-waste) returns and disposal activities in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the return and recovery of Outside Plant (OSP) reels, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reintegration into inventory to maximize asset utilization.
  • Maintain inventory records and coordinate asset recovery activities to support inventory accuracy and cost control initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for scrap vendors, managing vendor relationships, coordinating material pickups, and ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize scrap material disposition processes to maximize value recovery and minimize waste.
  • Assist with direct-to-consumer fulfillment operations, including packing, shipping, inventory verification, and process oversight to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Generate reports and maintain documentation related to inventory, returns, asset recovery, scrap management, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable environmental regulations.

Education:
  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Relevant Work Experience:
  • 2 to 4 years in related field
  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations, warehouse operations, or asset management.
  • Experience with Telcom - asset recovery, reverse logistics, or materials management (preferred)

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Oracle requisitioning process, and a working knowledge of Oracle Fusion
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of e-waste recycling and disposal requirements
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors and service providers
  • Familiarity with shipping and fulfillment operations

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • No Supervisory Responsibilities

Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000
