Job description

Job Summary:
The Swift Group, LLC is a company specializing in mission-critical operations and technology solutions. They are seeking a Reverse Engineer to analyze software and firmware, identify vulnerabilities, and support mission objectives in complex environments. The role may involve developing custom tools and leading reverse engineering efforts depending on the level of the candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct reverse engineering of software and/or firmware to analyze functionality and identify vulnerabilities
• Analyze compiled code, binaries, and system behavior to identify malicious or exploitable conditions
• Perform static and dynamic analysis in support of mission objectives
• Support or develop tools, scripts, and methodologies for exploitation and vulnerability discovery
• Apply low-level programming and debugging techniques, including assembly-level analysis
• Collaborate with mission teams to support operational and technical objectives
• (Higher levels) Lead reverse engineering efforts, develop novel methodologies, and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Coursework must include algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies/languages, data structures, logic/computation, and advanced mathematics
• Experience with reverse engineering, binary analysis, debugging, and/or software/system engineering
• US Citizenship and active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required
• 5+ years of relevant experience (for Level 2)
• Experience with reverse engineering of software or firmware (for Level 2)
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language (for Level 2)
• Experience with debugging and binary analysis (for Level 2)
• Exposure to vulnerability analysis and/or exploit development (for Level 2)
• 8+ years of relevant experience (for Level 3)
• Experience with advanced reverse engineering of complex software systems (for Level 3)
• Experience with static and dynamic binary analysis (for Level 3)
• Experience with exploit development and vulnerability analysis (for Level 3)
• Experience with assembly-level debugging and tool development (for Level 3)
• 11+ years of relevant experience (for Level 4)
• Expert-level experience in reverse engineering and binary/firmware analysis (for Level 4)
• Experience leading complex reverse engineering or exploitation efforts (for Level 4)
• Experience with vulnerability discovery and exploit research (for Level 4)
• Experience developing tools, methodologies, and advanced debugging techniques (for Level 4)
