The Supervisor Patient Access is responsible for monitoring employee performance, supporting daily staff functions, overseeing the integrity of data collection while facilitating the process of revenue cycle management, maintaining compliance standards, and preparing reports. This position works with medical staff, revenue cycle departments, and nursing and ancillary departments to coordinate Patient Access functions and ensure smooth delivery of services. The Supervisor works continually with other departments to improve Patient Access processes and procedures to better serve patient needs. Supervise coworkers compassionately engage in conversation with patients and explain their responsibilities for copay, pre-payment and outstanding balances.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Monitor employees' performance with the use of standard key performance indicators.

  • Maintain all HIPAA compliance standards for providing accurate information for Revenue Cycle Health Systems.

  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare reports as they relate to Revenue Cycle Management.

  • Anticipate scheduling needs while maintaining adequate staffing for efficient operations.

  • Monitor productivity standards while integrating individuals work into a team effort.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies and third party payers.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Associate's Degree

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years Revenue Cycle Preferred

  • 1 year Hospital/Physician Office/Relevant Healthcare Service Related Required

  • 1 year Leadership Preferred
