Job description

A small commercial general contractor in the Wendell, NC area is hiring a Superintendent to help manage a growing pipeline of projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked their way up through the field and wants to join a close knit team where reliability and trust go a long way.
Superintendent Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations on active commercial construction sites
- Manage project budgets and keep costs on track
- Coordinate work involving concrete, steel, and masonry trades
- Supervise projects across office, retail, and medical building types
- Support planning and execution across multiple projects released around the same time
- Build and maintain trust based relationships with crews and subcontractors
- Ensure consistent, reliable presence on site every day
Superintendent Requirements:
- 4+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction field supervision at a GC
- Comfortable managing project budgets, scheduling, etc.
- Bachelors degree is a plus
