Store Designer (Hybrid - East Coast Locations)
About the Role
You'll support our Global Store Design team in creating compelling, on-brand retail environments across multiple regions and market types. This role translates design standards and creative concepts into store-specific layouts and design solutions while maintaining brand consistency and adhering to local codes and requirements. You'll work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where detail, creativity, and collaboration are essential.
What You'll Do
Develop floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials that support design solutions while adhering to global design guidelines and brand strategy
Demonstrate working knowledge of business context and current design trends, staying current with new materials and design techniques
Direct and manage third-party consultants for completion of design packages within schedule and budget
Review drawing sets and shop drawings for adherence to design standards and accuracy
Coordinate with internal and external partners (construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, store operations) to ensure cohesive project execution and functional, on-brand designs
Respond quickly to changing business conditions, new design prototypes, and material developments
Manage multiple projects at varying phases of the lifecycle simultaneously
Partner across functions to advocate for design integrity while meeting business objectives
Prepare presentation materials and present design concepts to cross-functional teams
Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that could impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited institution
3-5 years of design experience working on retail projects (international or travel retail experience a plus)
Technical expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, BlueBeam, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Proficient in 3D modeling, sketching, rendering, and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to create, read, and review drawings and details
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and timelines
Collaborative mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and respond to feedback
Flexible and agile approach to changing business needs
What We're Looking For
Previous rollout retail experience or experience designing for established brands in corporate settings
Comfort working across multiple regions and coordinating with distributed teams
The ability to independently lead projects while also taking direction from supervisors
Work Environment
Hybrid role with offices in New York and Ohio (schedule to be determined based on location)
Full-time, 40 hours per week including meetings, drawing review, drafting, and presentations

There's potential for extension and possible conversion to permanent based on business needs and performance.
