Go! Retail Group, based in Austin, Texas, is a national specialty retailer and the parent company of several iconic retail brands, including Go! Toys, Toys"R"Us, Attic Salt, Wonder World, and other global brands. We are the world's largest operator of holiday pop-up stores, operating hundreds of locations in malls, outlets, shopping centers, and lifestyle centers across the United States.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to the Director of Retail Sales Operations and will work closely with a highly collaborative team of professionals. 

The role requires daily communication with the Director and cross-functional collaboration to support the overall business by ensuring all reports and sales data is are executed efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude with a good sense of humor.

Position Overview
The Sales Analyst is a data-focused role responsible for gathering, interpreting, and reporting on sales data to help leadership make informed business decisions. 

This role serves as a bridge between sales, marketing, and management by transforming raw data into actionable insights that improve sales productivity and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a dashboard, presenting findings to leadership, and digging into a store-level anomaly to figure out what's really going on.


This role is 100% in-office and is not a remote position.

Essential Functions:


Sales Analysis & Reporting

Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends and patterns.

Prepare sales forecasts using historical and current data.

Review past sales data to identify productivity trends and opportunities for improvement.

Track performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) across stores, formats, and regions.

Prepare accurate, recurring reports using data from internal and external sources, and build dashboards that make key trends easy to see at a glance.

Monitor pricing strategies and analyze their impact on sales performance.

Evaluate third-party and competitive data to identify best practices and opportunities for company success.


Insights & Business Partnership

Communicate regularly with the management team regarding sales performance and insights.

Present actionable insights and recommendations to team members and management.

Gather and analyze data to identify issues and proactively recommend solutions.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives.

Partner with stakeholders to understand sales objectives and reporting needs.

Provide actionable insights for data-driven decision-making at both the store and portfolio level.


Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments, including Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Marketing.

Liaise with IT to ensure necessary data requirements are met, and build knowledge of how data flows, where it is stored, and how to access it within our enterprise and POS/back-office systems.

Support maintenance and continuous improvement of sales reporting tools and dashboards.

Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
