Job Summary
Our client is seeking a sales- and relationship-driven National Accounts Coordinator - Retail to grow and manage partnerships with major retail accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe's, and other national retailers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships and driving account growth, and who is comfortable using data and reporting to support those conversations — not someone looking for an analyst or back-office role. You'll work closely with sales, operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure customer needs, forecasting, and inventory levels are met throughout the year.
This is a customer-facing account management role that blends relationship management, sales growth, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own and grow relationships with large corporate retail accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive account expansion and retention.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, production, and transportation teams to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze sales trends and forecasts to support account strategy and planning.
  • Support seasonal forecasting and inventory planning in partnership with operations.
  • Monitor purchase orders, inventory, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare customer-facing presentations and reports to support sales conversations.
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to strengthen account performance.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate account management, retail account management, sales, or customer success — strong preference for a sales/account management background over accounting or finance.
  • Experience managing large retail or big-box accounts (Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a track record of growing, retaining, or expanding key accounts.
  • Comfortable using Excel and reporting tools (formulas, pivot tables) to support account and sales decisions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — comfortable presenting to and negotiating with retail partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, logistics, and production teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in data and analytics combined with sales and account management experience.
  • Experience supporting national retail accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, or similar.
  • Experience using CRM and reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience preparing sales reports, forecasts, and customer presentations.
  • Familiarity with logistics coordination and transportation planning.
  • Experience supporting seasonal promotions or product launches.
  • Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.
Work Environment / Schedule
  • Full-time, on-site position based in Hutto, TX.
  • Monday-Friday during standard business hours.
  • Collaborative office environment with regular interaction across operations, production, transportation, and sales teams.
  • Fast-paced environment with increased workload during seasonal demand.
  • Occasional travel may be required to customer locations or corporate meetings.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match (fully vested after one year).
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Paid Bereavement Leave.
  • Educational Assistance for industry-related certifications.
  • Career growth opportunities within a growing, family-owned organization.
