The Goddard School® located at 1215 Ridge Road Raleigh, NC 27607 is seeking a dedicated and nurturing organized, and dependable Resource Teacher to join our team!

Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Greet families, visitors, and prospective families, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain student and school records, filing systems, and administrative documentation
  • Assist with enrollment paperwork, attendance tracking, and data entry
  • Support school leadership with general administrative tasks and office organization
  • Support teachers and classrooms by preparing materials and resources as needed
  • Provide classroom coverage during staff breaks, meetings, absences, or other operational needs
  • Supervise children appropriately when assisting in classrooms while ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, family, and staff information
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or administrative experience preferred
  • Previous administrative, customer service, receptionist, or childcare experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and general office technology
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with young children and supporting classrooms as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when assisting in classrooms or supporting school activities
  • Must pass required state background checks and meet all state licensing requirements
