Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical Resource Manager to join our team and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support. This individual will play a key role in ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables, developing junior talent, and driving consistency in mechanical design standards and best practices across multiple offices.

Essential Functions:
  • Technical Expertise & Guidance
    • Serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical engineering disciplines, including piping, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and other critical systems
    • Provide oversight and review of mechanical engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and client requirements
    • Support proposal development and project execution by providing mechanical scope definition, estimates, and risk assessments
  • Mentorship & Training
    • Act as a mentor to early-career and mid-level mechanical engineers across offices, fostering skill development and professional growth
    • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate technical competence across the organization
    • Promote cross-office collaboration, ensuring alignment in methodologies, tools, and project approaches
  • Project & Office Support
    • Collaborate with project managers and engineering leads to resolve technical challenges and support project delivery
    • Provide support for complex or high-value projects, particularly in the petrochemical, refining, and midstream markets
    • Act as a resource for site visits, client meetings, and troubleshooting during construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities
  • Standards & Continuous Improvement
    • Develop and maintain mechanical engineering standards, procedures, and best practices
    • Support initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation within the mechanical discipline
    • Provide feedback from project execution to strengthen lessons learned and knowledge management systems

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or related industries
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineers
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
